Formed is 1987 as Woodrum and Associates, sole proprietor, as a correctional consulting firm with a primary focus of assisting Kentucky counties and Kentucky architects in the planning, design, construction and occupancy of local detention facilities. 

Since that time the firm has expanded its' expertise to complete criminal justice projects and functions in several states.   Woodrum and Associates, LLC has assisted county, state and federal governmental agencies and architects in various aspects of over 100 criminal justice and security projects including local detention centers, state prisons, judicial facilities, law enforcement centers and complex security systems.  Services provided to clients range from  pre-architectural planning to occupancy to legislative development to security systems.
